The Dry Season

April to October
Mozambique has a subtropical climate and is warm all year round with May to October offering beautiful long, sunny days ideal for lounging on the beach and enjoying the plethora of activities available. June marks the beginning of the humpback whale season through to November, while the winds tend to pick up in August. Mozambique is renowned for its Big Game fishing, and September marks the beginning of the Marlin fishing season.

The Green Season

November to March
November is considered the last month of spring, with hot, sunny days, intertwined with scattered thunderstorms. Early December is touted as the best time for spotting whale sharks, though this time of year through to March welcomes regular thunderstorms. The rains tend to ease off by April.
