The Seychelles is a spellbinding island escape famed for its natural beauty and exclusivity. A honeymoon here offers the ultimate escape, combining romantic seclusion with breathtaking landscapes.

The Seychelles islands are a mix of white sandy beaches, water-smoothed boulders, coco de mer palms and tropical vegetation frequented by colourful birdlife – including the endemic black parrot. Seychelles diving is excellent and the crystal clear waves that lap the shores of these islands hide brilliant coral reefs and abundant marine life.

Dotted in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles islands number a little over 100. On Praslin Island, you will find the ancient forest of coco der mer palms, a UNESCO heritage site named Vallée de Mai. Mahé is the largest island and pairs a vibrant Creole culture with the tropical vegetation of Morne Seychelles National Park. La Digue, the third largest and quieter island has the famous Anse Source d’Argent beach and plenty of authentic boutique stays to choose from. Finally, there is North Island, this private escape offers a truly luxurious and exclusive chance to disconnect and reconnect in one of the most beautiful places imaginable.

The Seychelles is where you will find not only a vibrant underwater world – but also Bird Island, where one can witness hundreds of thousands of sooty terns and other species, or, the chance to explore Aldabra Atoll and visit the largest population of giant tortoises on the planet.

The Dry Season

April to early May – October to early November
These are excellent months to visit the Seychelles, characterised by warm, sunny days and little wind. The waters of the Indian Ocean are calm and visibility is at its best.

The Green Season

November to March
In November, the northwest trade winds pick up, with December, marking the beginning of the monsoon season. The monsoon season brings tropical downpours and high winds typically though until March.

Mid-May to September
This is when the Southwest trade wind picks up, so best to stay on the west coast to avoid the winds.
