The Dry Season

May to October
These are the cooler, drier months from May to September are perfect for coastal exploration and offer prime conditions for scuba diving and snorkelling, with some windier days in August. The whale-watching season runs from June to October. You can catch many fish, including tuna, all year. Marlin fishing is best from October to January, and King Fish are in their prime in September. However, it is important to note that temperatures can rise quite significantly in October.

The Green Season

November to April
In November, the rainy season starts, making it a paradise for birdwatchers as migratory species seek warmer weather. Mozambique’s diverse birdlife thrives during this period. Fishing is a year-round delight, with opportunities to catch hefty tuna. Marlin fishing is best from October to January.
