Lauded as Namibia’s premier game viewing destinations, Etosha National Park and its private reserves are abundant with game. Rhinos, predators and other big game move across pans and shrubland to congregate at waterholes.

Blessed with a great diversity of desert-adapted wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, antelope, giraffes, and rhinos – Etosha is a sanctuary within an otherwise seemingly inhospitable desert landscape. Visitors can seek out this spectacular wildlife on game drives, night drives, and thrilling walking safaris.

Etosha’s private reserves offer vast private expenses that provide a chance to experience all the wildlife of this famed area with elevated luxury and a great level of privacy.

Luxury lodges and adventurous camps dot the landscape, providing guests with opulent amenities and a front-row seat to the park’s natural wonders.

The Dry Season

May to September
These months constitute the dry winter period in the region. Nights can be quite chilly, but the days are pleasantly warm, making it an excellent time for game viewing due to animals congregating around water sources.

The Green Season

October to April
October experiences extremely high temperatures and increased humidity leading up to the November rains. The later part of the rainy season, particularly late March and April, is a wonderful time to observe baby animals and migratory birds.
